Unlike other organizations, we do not charge membership dues, but we hold this special event each year to allow members and supporters to contribute any amount that aligns with their means. Our 2025 Membership Drive is more than just a fundraiser—it's a gathering that celebrates our collective achievements and reinforces our commitment to tenant rights and empowerment. Contributions go directly toward funding our programs, events, and tenant advocacy efforts throughout Skid Row. We are thousands of tenants across AHF Skid Row organized into tenant associations in our buildings and neighborhood-based Councils. Since 2023, we have stood up to harassment, pressured our landlords to make long-overdue repairs, prevented evictions, protested, and won rent strikes across the city. Come to one of our associations or council meeting or any of our events to meet other tenants and join our fight! We are funded and run by our members. We do not have staff. Dues money goes to renting meeting spaces, hosting events, and buying supplies like interpretation equipment. We suggest $2-15/month depending on your income. Any amount is welcome!
